According to the data released by the Jining Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, the added value of Jining's industrial enterprises above designated size rose by 8.5% year-on-year from January to March this year; the added value of the manufacturing sector increased by 17.5% year-on-year, hitting a record high and contributing 124.7% to industrial growth. These figures underscore the resilience and vitality of the manufacturing industry in Jining, a city in east China's Shandong province.

In recent years, "Jining-made" construction machinery—such as bulldozers and excavators—has enjoyed robust sales both domestically and abroad, with a number of key local enterprises seeing their order volumes rise against prevailing market trends. At the production workshop of Shandong Hengwang Group Co., Ltd., workers are rushing to complete an order of excavators destined for Brazil; meanwhile, at Shandong Shankuang Machinery Co., Ltd., workers are accelerating production to fulfill orders for heavy machinery bound for the Indian market.

Addressing shortcomings such as a relatively small industrial scale and weak supporting capabilities, Jining City provides customized services for local enterprises, offering targeted support to 85 "industrial chain-leading" enterprises, and strives to cultivate nine enterprises with an annual output value of over 10 billion yuan.

In addition, industrial parks serve as the primary hubs for Jining's industrial economic development. In this regard, Jining has identified a number of important municipal-level industrial parks, leveraging these parks to drive a sustained recovery and upward trajectory in the industrial economy.
