Recently, members of Shandong Normal University's  delegation for cultural lectures in Russia visited the Confucius Institute at Moscow State Linguistic University, and delivered a lecture titled "Poetry and Etiquette of B&Bs: Creating a Home-like Aesthetic of Hospitality". The event, themed "Dialogue between the Civilizations of the Yellow River and the Volga River", integrated Shandong Normal University's 75 years of academic heritage with international cultural communication practices, deeply engaging in Sino-Russian cultural and tourism exchanges. This initiative has injected new momentum into the development of B&Bs industry and mutual learning between the two civilizations.

　　During the lecture, the delegation focused on the entire process of B&B services, delved deeply into the etiquette and aesthetic ingenuity of each link, and carried through the university's cultural communication concept of "focusing on details and integrating traditions" throughout. At the same time, the delegation, combining the university's rich experience in international exchanges, shared the internationally accepted service etiquette standards and conducted in-depth discussions on the balance between cultural characteristics and international standards.

　　During the event, delegates dressed in Hanfu - a traditional Chinese costume - demonstrated tea ceremony etiquette to Russian teachers and students. A VR session was also organized on site, where the audience wearing VR glasses immersed themselves in the Chinese-style B&Bs and intangible cultural heritage paper-cutting exhibition halls, intuitively experiencing the etiquette and spatial aesthetics therein.
