The 17th Sun Tzu Cultural Tourism Festival kicked off in Guangrao County, Dongying City, Shandong Province, recently. By tracing the historical origin of Sun Tzu culture and exploring its relevance in today’s world, the festival aims to bring traditional culture and modern life into harmony.

　　With the theme of "Seeking Wisdom from Sun Wu, Narrating the Past and Present", this year's Festival is sponsored by Dongying Municipal People's Government and undertaken by the Dongying Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism together with the People's Government of Guangrao County. Starting from September 10, it will run until mid-October. It aims to build a broad platform for cultural exchange, tourism and educational activities, further carry forward Sun Tzu culture, and promote the in-depth integration of cultural and tourism industries in Dongying.

　　The program features 13 themed activities, including the 2025 Yellow River Estuary Sun Tzu Culture Academic Seminar, the 2025 Guangrao Sun Wu Lake Half Marathon, the National Invitational Calligraphy Exhibition on Chinese and Foreign Evaluations of The Art of War, the Sun Wu Lake Gourmet Camping Carnival, the Le'an Sun Clan Cultural Exchange Activity, and the immersive market with the theme of military strategy.
