From July 9 to 10, the Eleventh Nishan Forum on World Civilizations was held in Qufu, Shandong province, the hometown of Confucius. It brings together over 560 guests from more than 70 countries and regions to deepen exchanges, exploring ways to jointly build a garden of civilizations where diverse cultures flourish together.

　　Since its inception in 2010, the Forum has evolved from an academic forum on Confucian thought into a comprehensive humanities forum covering diverse fields such as culture, education, history, international politics, economics, ecology, art, and traditional Chinese medicine. With the theme of "Beauty in Diversity: Nurturing Understanding Among Civilizations for Global Modernization", this edition of the forum features six sub-topics, including the origins and future development of civilizations.

　　The newly introduced parallel forum on water culture this year became one of the focal points for scholars and experts. Academics from over 10 countries discussed it centered around the topic of "Water Culture and Global Modernization". Other forums—such as those on world cultural heritage, financial culture, and traditional Chinese medicine culture—features extensive and in-depth discussions, highlighting the distinctive interdisciplinary nature of this year's Nishan Forum on World Civilizations.

　　During the Forum, distinctive activities enriched the forms of civilization exchange and deepened mutual understanding among participants. The Nishan Forum has set up an open floor for dialogues among world civilizations, deepening communication and understanding among different countries and cultures.
