On June 4, 2025, the International Exchange and Cooperation Conference of Academies of Sciences opened in Jinan, east China's Shandong Province. This event, organized by Qilu University of Technology (Shandong Academy of Sciences), has attracted more than 100 experts from scientific research institutes of China, Russia, Belarus, Uzbekistan, Serbia and other countries.

　　At the opening ceremony, the think tank of SCO member states was launched; some think tank achievements were released; the agreement was signed for the international cooperation on three innovation platforms and four scientific research projects.

　　The three-day conference will carry out academic activities on the themes of life science outlook, microelectronics and artificial intelligence, energy, new materials and technology, culture, art and history. Experts from Russia, Brazil, Canada, Belarus, Serbia, Kyrgyzstan, Armenia, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan and some other countries will deliver over 70 specialized academic reports, further promoting the cooperation on global scientific and technological innovation.
