The 2025 Jining Inter-University Analects Contest commenced on the afternoon of November 19, 2025 at Jining University. For the first time, the contest brought together students from eight universities in Jining, east China's Shandong Province, to compete alongside each other. The participating universities include Qufu Normal University, Jining Medical University, Jining University, Shandong Polytechnic College, Jining Polytechnic, Jining Technician College, Qilu Institute of Technology, and Qufu Fareast Vocational and Technical College. Participants interpreted classics through their contemporary youth perspectives, bringing ancient wisdom to life.

　　This Analects Contest featured four sessions, where competitors interpreted the classics of The Analects through a battle of wits. After fierce competition, four major awards were given. During the award ceremony, college students gained not only honors but also a deeper understanding and love for traditional culture. At the scene, representatives from eight universities jointly released the initiative "New Voice of Confucianism, Youth Take the Lead", calling on young students to communicate with ancient sages in their own words, draw life wisdom for self-cultivation and moral development from it, and let the ancient thoughts radiate youthful vitality in the new era.

　　The contest is not only a practice for universities and local authorities to share resources, complement each other’s advantages, co-cultivate talents, and pursue win-win cooperation in ideology and culture, but also a new picture of cultural inheritance in Jining, the hometown of Confucius and Mencius.

　　The 2025 Jining Inter-University Analects Contest is led by the Cyberspace Administration of Jining and Qufu Cultural Demonstration Zone, co-hosted by eight universities in Jining, and undertaken by Jining Radio and Television Station.
